You almost spoonfeed us with your simple presentation and narration of a recipe. I’ve bought this book at least 5 times from Amazon, to give as a gift to a relative cooking at home with pedatha friend over the years.
What a lovely birthday meal! This book feels like I am in the kitchen with an Indian grandmother, learning how to use asafoetida as a spice, building up the flavors in cooking at home with pedatha sambar, understanding the value of using fenugreek leaves, and making unique yet familiar chutneys with ease.

There is no cottage cookbook industry and publishing a cookbook particularly one that focuses on regional cooking is still a big deal.
