Every skeptic needs to read this book. Newspapers, reviews, novels, romances, they can read, but not the Bible. There are thousands who answer this description. The Holy Spirit speaks to me, powerfully, through Ryle. There are many in every part of our country in this condition. Be careful that you do not give way j c ryle practical religion a thoughtless, lazy manner of using the weekly services of the church.
But they care nothing for the worship of God when they do come. If you are adamantly against Christianity, here you will find arguments respectfully presented and handled which you j c ryle practical religion do well to hear. Upon all these points, J.
